ABOUT ARTIST
Shauna Southam is a practicing Fine Artist based in Dubai. She holds a degree in Fine Art, and a PGCE Art & Design, having studied in South Africa and the UK. She creates mixed media artworks, specialising in drawing, painting and fine art printmaking. Her unique designs have been showcased in galleries, art exhibitions and international art fairs, including World Art Dubai.
Her work is sought by both private collectors and corporate clients, which includes bespoke, commissioned artwork for private homes, industry and hospitality spaces.
Shauna's process as an artist is adaptive, inventive, and multi-layered. She enjoys the challenge of combining different techniques and materials to create hybrid artworks, celebrating expressive mark-making using line, shape, pattern and vivid colour.
Inspired by her passion for art history, cultural traditions, portraiture, flora, textiles, ceramics and hand-crafted jewellery, she creates contemporary artworks that explore the value of artefacts, hand-made work and beauty in an increasingly globalised and digital world. These tangible links between past and present are weaved into the story of her work.

FAQ
Do you provide International delivery?
Yes, we deliver to all international destinations. Delivery costs are based on the item you are purchasing. The cost will be shown in your cart. Some items are oversized and will have to be quoted and paid for prior to despatch. This is indicated on the product page
How much does local delivery cost?
Local delivery to anywhere in the United Arab Emirates is free of charge.
How do I return an item?
If for whatever reason you are not satisfied with the artwork you have purchased, please e-mail artist@shaunasoutham.com and we will get back to you within 24 hours to arrange the return of the item.
What is your return policy?
International: If the item is damaged, please arrange to return the artwork to us. Once we have examined the damaged piece, we will give a full refund including all delivery costs. For any other reason you wish to return artwork, you will have to pay for the item to be returned to us. Once we have the piece, we will refund you the cost of the artwork only. You will not receive a refund on costs of the original delivery nor the return.
Local: We will collect the artwork from you and once we have this, we will give you a full refund.
How do I track my order?
International: If you wish to track your order, please e-mail artist@shaunasoutham.com and we will send you the tracking number link.
Local: Delivery is next day via courier, there is no tracking number.
Can I see the physical artwork prior to buying?
Yes, if you wish to come to Shauna's studio and see the original piece you are interested in purchasing, please e-mail artist@shaunasoutham.com with your details and the title of the piece and we can arrange a time to meet. The prices of artworks on the website are final and there will be no negotiating on prices. Please also note that we do not offer this for any Prints of the artwork you would wish to purchase.
Are there any discounts available?
Yes, only for bulk buying of artwork. Please e-mail artist@shaunasoutham.com with your details for us to contact you privately should you wish to bulk buy.
